Earlier this year, Veronica Alford the mother of one of the teenage boys who killed 13-year-old Monae Turnage of Baltimore, has been charged as an accessory for obstructing and hindering police investigation.
It is believed that she dragged the young girl’s body into an alley and hid the murder weapon in the trunk of the police car associated with Officer John Ward who surprisingly was not charged in this case.
Court papers filed on Friday also charges Veronica Alford with falsifying statements.
Alford’s attorney said “She maintains her innocence.“
The other 3 suspects have been linked to the crime and charged.
