The severity of Hurricane Sandy halted flights from BWI, Metro and Marc Train on Monday and most of Tuesday. Today the MTA resumed limited Metro subway and mobility/paratransit services. Nearly 90 percent of the MTA’s buses were released to the public for local transportation needs.
Engineering crews have inspected “ tunnels, tracks, equipment and stations to assess damage.” As a result Marc Trains, Light Rail is scheduled to resume operation Wednesday morning.
