It was a tense afternoon on Capitol Hill today not only were concerns of the Federal government shutdown top and major story of the week but get this, an unidentified woman struck the outer perimeter barricades of the White House earlier this afternoon for reasons unknown.As a result, The U.S. Capitol was placed on a brief lockdown after the woman tried to ram her black infiniti car into the White House gate.
Aggressively pressured by Secret Service agents and Capitol Hill Police, she was shot multiple times and killed. A officer in pursuit was critically injured but later announced to be doing fine. In addition, 1-year-old child in the car survived the entire horrifying incident unharmed. ” All the shots fired came from law-enforcement and the woman did not have a gun, sources said. “She was using the car as a weapon,” one source said. Dramatic video showed officers with guns drawn surrounding the woman’s black Infiniti.”
Could she have been one of the millions of Americans impacted and frustrations with the political stand. Many unanswered questions surround today’s attack near the White House and the reasons at this point are merely speculation.
