teacher knocked-outA teacher was knocked out by a student at a southwest Philadelphia high school.

According to Pewu Johnson, 68, the attack happened when a female student sat on a male student’s lap.

Johnson told the student it was inappropriate behavior and he said student told him, “…get the f*ck out of my face.”

The school district officials said the student then threw the teacher to the ground and he hit his head .

Pewu said, “The boy dropped me down with so much force. I was out.”

The teacher was rushed to the hospital where he was examined and treated for a concussion. The student that attacked him was suspended from school.

Fernando Gallard, a Philadelphia School District spokesperson said, “The assault that occurred yesterday is the result of an individual making a dramatically poor choice. The School District does not tolerate this type of behavior and is

working with Bartram High School and the Philadelphia Police to make sure that the student is disciplined and also charged.

This is to be the third attack on a teacher at the school in less than a month.
