An Amber Alert issued for 15-month-old Twinkle Twinkie Twilight has been cancelled after the Fort Worth toddler was found safe with her mother, CBS-DFW reports.

Authorities found Twinkle, also known as Twinkle Miles or Twinkle Dixon, at a house in east Fort Worth. She was with her mother, Vicki Lynn Miles, 42, also known as Vicki Lynn Dixon, who was arrested Monday on kidnapping charges.

The Fort Worth police department received an anonymous tip that later turned out to be from Vicki Lynn’s estranged husband, which led them to Twinkle’s location.

According to CBS-DFW, Twinkle had been in Child Protective Services since last June before being moved to foster care. She was ultimately placed in a relative’s home last Thursday, which is where she was abducted by Vicki Lynn.

“She said, ‘When I see my baby today, I’m going to get her and run,’” Dixon said. “I said, ‘You do that, and you’ll never see that baby again. And you’re going to jail.’”

Twinkle was reportedly found wrapped in a blanket, unharmed.

“This is why we do this job,” said Lt. R.L Krouse of the Fort Worth Police Department. “Every officer out here felt connected and dedicated to make sure we, as best we could, find this child safe.”

In an interview from behind bars, Vicki Lynn, who has 11 other children, including two named Mariah Carey and Thumbelina, said that she had a passport and tickets to leave the country with her daughter.

While the rest of her family was distracted, Vicki Lynn, who had also shaved off her hair and eyebrows, began to flee.

“Then I started running, and all the kids are like, ‘Oh my God! Grandma’s running!’” she said.

Vicki Lynn said that she had a change of heart after she realized that Twinkle — of whom she had lost custody of 6 months prior after the state discovered that they were living in a hotel room infested with cockroaches and bedbugs — no longer felt close to her. She claims that she attempted to breastfeed her and she turned away, seemingly looking for her foster mother.

Though the Amber Alert warned that Twinkle was “in grave danger,” Dixon says that Vicki Lynn would not have hurt her daughter.

“She wasn’t going to hurt the baby or nothing like that,” he said. “The baby needs to be out of this weather, and she needs some mental health, that’s why I did it.”
