Erica Garner, daughter of slain New Yorker Eric Garner had some choice and harsh words for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

According to the New York Daily News, the 43-year-old Tweeted on Thursday, “Just cause you love Black p—y don’t mean you love Black lives… cc @BilldeBlasio,” referencing de Blasio’s wife, First Lady of NYC, Chirlane McCray.

Welp! And she didn’t stop there.

God has a way of exposing fraud … Bill De Blasio can say whatever he wants. Black people here get no justice in his administration in NYC.

The thing that kills me is that De Blasio is raising a Black man..This is the example… My dad lays down and rolls over for white supremacy,” Garner concluded.

Apparently her outrage was sparked by the city’s decision to block the release of disciplinary records for NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, the officer who choked Garner to death in 2014. deBlasio stressed that releasing those files would violate state civil rights law.

When Colin Kaepernick was initially questioned about not standing for the national anthem in protest of the “wrongdoings” committed against Black people and people of color, he admitted that he may lose endorsements because of it. And while that has yet to happen, Denver Broncos’ linebacker Brandon Marshall, who recently took a knee in support of Kaepernick, has sadly met that fate.

According to the Denver Post, the Air Academy Federal Credit Union dropped Marshall as a spokesman after the Broncos open seasoner against the Carolina Panthers.

Although we have enjoyed Brandon Marshall as our spokesperson over the past five months, Air Academy Federal Credit Union (AAFCU) has ended our partnership,” Glenn Strebe, the AAFCU’s president and CEO wrote in a Facebook statement.

AAFCU is a membership-based organization who has proudly served the military community for over 60 years. While we respect Brandon’s right of expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors.”

And like Kaepernick, Marshall understands that taking a stand comes at a price.

Absolutely they were worth the consequences. I lost an endorsement, but that’s OK. I figured some sort of repercussion would happen. It’s what I thought about, and I still made the decision to do it. I can live with it,” he said on Friday.

From the scathing hastag #AirbnbWhileBlack to a pair of studies that confirm that Black users have issues finding lodging on the travel app and a pending lawsuit, it’s not a secret that Airbnb has a pesky racial discrimination problem.

Now, they claim they are going to do something about it.

According to the New York Times, on Thursday the company released a 32-page report outlining their new nondiscrimination policy which will go into effect Nov. It stresses asking users and hosts to be willing to work other “regardless of race, religion, national origin, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.”

“Bias and discrimination have no place on Airbnb, and we have zero tolerance for them,” Mr. Chesky wrote in a message to Airbnb users and hosts that accompanied the report. “Unfortunately, we have been slow to address these problems, and for this I am sorry.”

They will also try to reduce the usage of personal photos, clear markers for race and gender, and work to speed up instant bookings, which lets renters book places immediately without host approval, the Times noted.
