QUESTION: I ran into my ex-boyfriend and his new family and they seem really happy. This man was a nightmare for me just three years ago. He was abusive and such a destructive force. Is it possible that a person can be awful to you and fantastic to someone else?
ANSWER: Absolutely! A relationship good or bad is the sum of the two people in it. Someone can really be a mess with you and be the answer for someone else. We simply do not bounce off of everyone the same way. He may have found his happy and it is time for you to let him go and go find yours.
