Former Jay Z partner and Roc A Fella cofounder Dame Dash who you can also see on WE TV’s Growin up Hip Hop is still selling his famed sneaker collection on eBay. And he was one of the world’s biggest sneaker heads so it’s a rare opportunity to pick up some maaaad dope kicks on fire.
Allegedly the music mogul owes back taxes and has a net worth of negative$2 million. So I guess you can thank Uncle Sam for these valuable sneakers on the market. And given that Dash hasn’t really found the same levels of success since the heydays with Jigga; the sale comes as no surprise: Apparently there are several hundred classic sneakers up for grabs including plenty from back in the day such as the Nike SB Dunk Low Supreme, Nike SB Dunk Low Heineken, Nike x Undefeated Dunk High, Nike Air Force 1 Roc-A-Fella, Roc-A-Fella 35th Anniversary Adidas Superstars, sample Air Force 2sneakers and many more.
Most of the shoes being auctioned off range in sizes from 9.5 to 10.5 and are in deadstock or lightly worn condition. That aint all, he’s also selling valuable Roc A Fella items including several platinum plaques including platinum plaques from Kanye West, Jay-Z, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel and the entire Roc-A-fella camp, as well as plaques from Aaliyah and other artists. Aaliyah tho? Not the late princess Aaliyah. I think he needs to keep that one. Hit me on Instagram @jazd1
