How would I respond to this #ThirstyThursday text? IT DEPENDS: (If we have been dating a while or are in a relationship.) If I really want to go out I'd say, "No worries. I got it tonight," and take my man on a date. Or, I'd take groceries over there for him to cook. If taking me out is gonna hurt him, so will buying groceries. (If this is a first date or very early on.) I would suggest we postpone the date because I'm not at the point where I'm ready to visit his house. Honestly, a guy telling me he's broke in the very beginning is a turn off because it is either a test or the truth. If it's a test, bye-bye. I don't like tests. If it's the truth, that is too much to give someone to process in the very beginning. Why not form a platonic friendship and make his primary focus getting himself out of the hole? Like it or not, dating falls under the "entertainment" category of a budget. If you are broke and single, entertainment is just not in the budget. #love #sex #relationship
