Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown is suing a man he played against in a basketball game claiming he tried to extort him in an attempt to get money.
TMZ reports that Brown was sued by Malcolm Ausbon over a pick-up basketball game last July at an L.A. gym. Ausbon claims Brown attacked him over a foul call, and Brown said he was a member of the Bloods.
Brown is countersuing Ausbon saying that he had nothing to do with the fight and Ausbon knew it. Ausbon admitted to Brown’s people that Brown was not the culprit yet Ausbon tried to get Brown to give him a quarter of a million dollars. Brown refused to pay up so Ausbon brought the lawsuit. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, said, “Ausbon promised to keep the situation secret if Brown paid up”.
