Around 2:10 this afternoon two explosions injured 23 spectators and as of now 2 others are dead at the Boston Marathon.
Runners had already crossed the start/finish line when the explosions were set off. Details are still developing . More information coming as the details are gathered.
Special Bomb Squad Units are investigating the scene in search of any other active explosives, victims have been hit by glass exploding, including more explosive materials found. So far officials don’t know what type of materials were in the explosive devices. Nine people thus far, pronounced in critical condition with one possible amputation. Facts are still being gathered as forensics are examining the bombs found in trash receptacles.
Surveillance cameras have found images of a suspicious character carrying back packs that are questionable.
