In a recent interview, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney intimated that the occurrence of Hurricane Sandy may very well have doomed his chances of attaining the top White House position of president of the United States. He claimed the rampaging devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy, gave President Barack Obama the opportunity to act in a compassionate, presidential capacity. It didn’t help Romney that Obama seemed to bond very well with Republican Governor Chris Christie either, possibly swaying many non-committed voters Obama’s way in the November 2012 presidential election.
