Former Chicago Bulls all-star forward and original Olympic Dream Team member Scottie Pippen was held for questioning by the Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s office pertaining to an altercation that took place on the parking lot of a Malibu sushi bar at around 6:30pm (PDT) on Sunday June 23, 2013. According to eyewitnesses, the fight was preceded by an argument between Pippen and an unidentified restaurant patron. The encounter resulted in the unidentified man sustaining head injuries. He was hospitalized, treated, and released. Pippen, who currently serves as special advisor to Bulls’ president and chief operating officer Michael Reinsdorf, was not arrested nor booked, but he was very cooperative with the sheriff’s office.
