The jury in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial has found concert promoter AEG Live not liable in Jackson’s death.
Jackson’s mother and three children sued AEG Live in 2010, claiming negligence in hiring, retaining or supervising Dr. Conrad Murray, a factor in the Michael’s death June 25, 2009.
Jackson died of an overdose of the anesthetic propofol. Dr. Murray told investigators he was using it to treat the Micheal’s insomnia so he could rest for rehearsals.Dr. Murray was found guilty of Michael Jackson’s death and is scheduled to be released from jail later this month after serving two years for involuntary manslaughter.
