A friend on facebook stated that her husband was her universe and her “best friend.” I have been seeing this a lot; so I wanted to know from you — Should your spouse/ partner be your best friend?

- No, but it makes everything better when he is. If i can talk to you, be myself , my whole self without you seeing me differently. Its amazing.
- No, I know my spouse simply couldn’t fulfill all the roles in my life. I couldn’t survive without my different sets of friends. They all represent different sides of me and I am fully aware that my spouse could never be all of those things, nor would I want him to be.
