Baltimore was in for a treat Wednesday afternoon when the Tom Joyner Morning Show gave away FREE lunch at McDonalds. From noon – 1pm the McDonalds located at 6650 Security Blvd caused a traffic jam with people trying to grab a free meal coming from the city and even off the beltway. The TJMS hoped to break a world record by serving 400 people within an hour. We fell just a tad bit short by serving only 376 people in the hour but that did not compare to the amount of joy Magic 95.9 listeners received by gaining a FREE lunch. The TJMS just wanted to show appreciation to the city of Baltimore for making his morning show #1.
