Teddy Pendergrass’ WidowTeddy Pendergrass widow will retain control of his estate. A judge rejected a will from the entertainer’s son.

Judge Stanley Ott said the document “was fraudulent.” Pendergrass’ son’s testimony, Ott stated, was “wholly lacking in credibility.”

The AP reports, “Highly” credible testimony from Pendergrass’ wife, Joan, and other witnesses resulted in Ott ruling in her favor, saying that the late singer’s will dated in March 2009 and giving Joan Pendergrass most of the estate will stand”.

Pendergrass’ son “respectfully disagrees with the court’s ruling” and is considering an appeal.
