Our girl Brandy is werking it! She is currently starring on Broadway in Chicago, as Roxie Hart, but she’s also working on some new projects. It was announced a few weeks ago that Brandy would star in a new series on BET, and now we’re getting closer that becoming a reality.
Brandy posted the following photo letting us know that she is casting for her forthcoming BET rom-com entitled, Zoë Moon:
Brandy will play the title character, who is a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a bourgeoning cosmetics mogul. However, Zoë’s life isn’t without drama. Her ex-husband isn’t ready to play second fiddle in her life, and her 10 year-old son isn’t ready to see his mom dating new men.
So, we’ll be waiting for those cast announcement for who will play Zoë’s son and ex-husband. That should be interesting, so should the actors who will play new romantic prospects.
