For those red blooded Americans that say the Confederate flag is not a symbol of racism, fine. (Not really but for argument’s sake…) But, how can you call yourself a patriot and wave a flag that represents division of these great United States? The South wanted to secede from the North. They wanted to form a whole other country and went to war in an attempt to do so. The fact that the Confederate flag and monumental statues still litter the South, if not a symbol of racism, pays tribute to traitorism. If you are a true American, you should be opposed to Confederate flags and monuments for THAT reason alone. THE CONFEDERATE FLAG IS UN-AMERICAN.
