What Should Men … Women … Be Able to Do?

There is a meme going around saying that if a man can comfortably ask a woman if she can cook then she should be able to ask him if he can build a house! I love it! What should a man be able to do? What should a woman be able to do?
- I say a good mother and woman cook’s, cleaning, handle all household related matters plus she must be a beast in the bedroom at the drop of my hat on the bed . I am covering all the basic demands of a successful relationship between us.
- I’m not discriminatory with gender roles but all should know how to change the oil, budget a checkbook, cook a simple meal that doesn’t involve powdered cheese
- The definition of burden is doing more than your share. So both need to at least know their position and be able to play it to support a home and it family
- can he buy the house, actually buy the food is more realistic. but memes don’t have to make sense.
- All of us should be able to do the things needed to survive in case we don’t have the other. but I’m not getting with a woman who doesn’t/wont cook. just like I’m not mad at her if she doesn’t get with a man who cant look out for her. women be with dudes who cant/wont even fill up their gas tank
- Building a house is a bit much. The man should know how to maintain the house though…fix what’s broken, effectively communicate repair needs and negotiate with contractors, cut and trim the grass, etc. A woman should know how to cook, clean and keep the kitchen and closets stocked
- Women should be able to cook and clean. Men should be able to lead protect and provide
