Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” was released 33 years ago this week and looking back at his iconic horror flick of a music video, we wondered, what ever happened to the lead actress?
She went by the name of Ola Ray.
As an actress and model in the 80s, Ola also appeared in Cheers, Fear City, and Beverly Hills Cop II where she played a playboy playmate, but ironically enough, actually modeled for Playboy in real life!
The 90s and 00s are kind of a blur, but back in 2013, Ola Ray released her first single called “Remember,” which also stood as her tribute to MJ. That year, she was also also awarded $55,000 in a royalties dispute with the Michael Jackson estate over the “Thriller” music video. There were some red carpet appearances in between and IMDB.com credits say she lent her voice to an animated Toy Soldier short film released this year.
