Olympic Organizers in Rio are supplying the Athletes Village with 450,000 condoms this year! Let me break that down for you…. That’s about 42 per athlete, or 2 per day, if the athlete stays in Rio from the begging of the Olympics and stays until the end. It’s no secret that many of the world’s top athletes “get it in” throughout the two-week event, and the number of condoms distributed has greatly increased over the years. 6 years ago in Beijing, there were 100,000 available to athletes.
