THE BUZZ!

After almost 60 years, over 230,000 files on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination just dropped. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard made it official—they’re all up now at archives.gov/mlk.

The docs include FBI memos, leads, and even claims from James Earl Ray’s old cellmate about an alleged plot.

Dr. King’s family says he was heavily targeted by the FBI during his life through a disturbing campaign meant to spy on him and tear down his reputation. They’re reviewing the newly released files for any new info, and warn against using them to twist or damage his legacy or the Civil Rights Movement.
