The minimum wage could finally get an increase to $15 per hour, but it's not so simple.

Last night, Baltimore’s City Council passed a bill that would increase minimum wage to $15 by the year 2022.  The bill was passed with an 11-3 vote.  It is now the decision of Mayor Catherine Pugh to either sign or veto the bill.

The City Council is set to pass a law that will bring Baltimore’s minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2022. Baltimore’s wage increase would be almost $5 an hour higher than all the counties in the area.
