After killing 40-year-old Terence Crutcher last week, Shelby's attorney Scott Wood revealed that the officer had a temporary loss of hearing during the confrontation.

Scores of people gathered to say farewell at a memorial service for Terence Crutcher. Family and friends recalled him as a loving father with a passion for singing gospel music.

A full toxicology and autopsy report wasn't readily available at the time of reporting, according to KOCO.

"Officer Shelby, although now charged, is presumed to be innocent until a judge or a jury determines otherwise," the Tulsa County District Attorney said.
