Police in Washington state issued a warrant for comedian Katt Williams arrest after he skipped a court hearing today (Dec. 12).
Katt Williams 39, was arrested Dec. 2 in Seattle after he was allegedly involved in a bar fight and booked on suspicion of harassment, assault, and obstructing police charges.
He was due to appear in court today to be formally arraigned, but he was a no-show and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
According to TMZ, Katt Williams’s attorney claimed his client was absent due to a “medical issue.”
This is the latest in a slew of legal problems for Williams. Earlier this month, he was hit with a lawsuit from a fan for allegedly stricking the man with a microphone during a stand-up gig. Also this month, he was caught in Target on tape smacking an employee. Last week, he was arrested following a previous high-speed police chase in Sacramento, California.
