In Rosedale. a cargo train derailed earlier seriously injuring the driver who was pried from the train and flown to shock trauma. The driver is in serious by stable condition. the only other two passengers were not injured.
Although, Rail and Hazmat Investigators did not find any toxic chemical spill or smoke at least 20 blocks of along the Rosedale and Pulaski Highway area were evacuated as a precaution.
Baltimore County spokeswoman Elise Armacost, reported that ” the train was carrying unknown chemicals but smoke did not include toxic inhalants”.
