On the heels of a much-needed 8-4 victory over the Oakland Athletics on Saturday night, the Baltimore Orioles laid a huge egg in the third game of their 3-game series with the A’s by losing by a lopsided 10-2 score. It was a very tough outing for Oriole rookie pitcher Kevin Gausman, as the A’s seemed to have runners on base in every inning that he pitched. He was charged with 5 of the A’s final total of 10 runs. It was a sad day to be an Oriole and an Oriole fan, as the A’s seemed to score runs almost at will. The loss dropped the Orioles first place lead over the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees from 4 games to 3. The Birds now venture to Anaheim to take on the Angels in another big 3-game series.
