Chris Brown postponed his “Between the Sheets” tour after a Los Angeles judge denied his request for a waiver allowing him to travel.
Brown violated his probation to stay in Los Angeles County. This caused his probation to be revoked earlier this month. The probation is from his conviction for assaulting Rihanna in 2009. The judge found out about Brown’s probation violation after his appearance at a San Jose nightclub where five people were injured during a shooting.
Brown wrote in an Instagram post Monday night, “The judge would not sign off on my travel to do the tour until I finish these last 100 hours of community service. I promise that I am busting my ass doing it every day until it’s complete. This is the most disappointing news I’ve gotten in a while.”
Brown wrote, “Everything happens for a reason so I wanted to personally inform my fans. The show must go on… Once again I’m sorry for the delay. I love y’all!”
