KEVIN HART SUPPORTS NATE PARKER AND THE BIRTH OF A NATION
Reason number 5,475 why I love Kevin Hart: In a recent interview he admitted that he had not yet seen The Birth of A Nation but plans to do so. He also stated that he supports Nate Parker:
“Shouts out to him. Produced, wrote, directed. [He] faced the public’s attempt to, I guess you would say, to destroy his character. From bringing up stuff from the past when he’s got the project of his life on the line – to sit, face it, stand and say ‘I beat that. To bring it up is weak of you. I stand by my work, I stand by what I’m proud of and you know what? I’m not gonna turn and steer away from it.’ I salute him man. I support him.”

CHRIS ROCK INKS $40 MILLION DEAL WITH NETFLIX
Congrats to Chris Rock who inked a $40 million deal with Netflix to produce two comedy specials. The first show will be recorded in 2017 followed by a world tour. This is monumental because Chris Rock’s five previous stand up specials were all with HBO.

MAYWEATHER TRASHES KAEPERNICK PROTEST AND T.I. CLAPS BACK
Floyd Mayweather recently criticized Colin Kaepernick’s protest of the national anthem. In an interview, he said, “All lives matter,” and suggested Kaepernick focus on getting a starting position.

Atlanta rapper, T.I. respectfully clapped back at Mayweather in a lengthy post on Instagram. He called Mayweather’s comments irresponsible, inconsiderate and insensitive. T.I. was sure to be clear that his views had nothing to do with their past beef over his wife Tiny.
