The beloved 78-year-old congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Ca) is getting a little support for her efforts to impeach President Donald Trump.
Representative Andre Carson (D-Indiana) recently told CNN, “I’m right at the doorstep of impeachment.” The President of the United States is under investigation (it sounds crazy to say that but it’s true) for possible collusion with Russia and obstruction of justice emanating from the initial 2015 FBI investigation of Russian attempts to hack into U.S. political organizations.
Now a grand jury has been impaneled and special investigator Robert Mueller has begun to follow the money. From real estate to loans and the Miss Universe Pageant, Trump allegedly has financial ties to Russia that could be damaging. Investigators have turned up intercepted communications appearing to show efforts by Russian operatives to coordinate with Trump associates on hurting Hillary Clinton’s election prospects.
Between Trump trying to pass health care laws that would end health insurance for 32 million mostly poor and middle class Americans and planning to sue universities that have scholarships for African Americans and Hispanics, how much do we miss the only president with swag and heart.
