THE BUZZ!

Southwest Airlines blames the boiling summer heat for exploding soda cans that have injured 20 flight attendants

Its been hot everywhere this summer. Matter of fact, climate scientists said 2023 was the hottest year on record since 1850, and 2024 appears to be following suit.
Things are so hot, that airline employees are facing a new danger, not hot temperatures, but Hot Soda!
These cans get so hot that they explode. And this has caused Southwest airlines to take action after 20 flight attendants have been injured attempting to open these cans mid-flight.
The airline is working on keeping those drinks cooler, especially in super hot airports like Phoenix and Vegas. They’re also reminding everyone about heat safety, ’cause this summer’s been a real hot one.
So next time you’re on a Southwest flight, maybe stick with the water or no canned beverages  Just in case things get a little too explosive.
When do you know its just too hot. Exploding sodas, yeah that’s a good enough sign for me… its too hot!
