Summer Warning: Pool Recall Hits 5 Million After Fatal Accidents
THE BUZZ!
Summers’ are usually hot and you might’ve invested in some cool relief, like an above ground pool. Well, some of those pools are being recalled for a safety issue. A lot actually, how about 5 million of them. All due to a strap on the outside which makes it way too easy for little kids to climb in, even without a ladder. And they had to find out the hard way. Sadly, it’s been linked to 9 child deaths since 2002. The ages of the children who drowned were between 22 months and 3 years old.
These pools were sold at Walmart, Amazon, Target, Lowe’s and more by Bestway, Intex, and Polygroup. If you’ve got one, don’t wait to get it taken care of.
You can hit up the company for a free safety repair kit.
Get that fixed and lets keep them babies safe. And let’s enjoy summer safely.
