A 39 year old woman named Shannon Nicole Womack, just got hit with 43 charges. She’s accused of pretending to be four different nurses from other states. Not only that, she’s been using about 20 fake names and several social security numbers since 2020.
Back then she worked at nursing homes and rehab centers across Pennsylvania using stolen identities and fake licenses. She even went as far as creating her own fake staffing agency… to send herself out to jobs.
Well, the gig was up when she gave police a fake id after a routine traffic stop. That set off the investigation, and when they searched her car, they found multiple IDs, prescriptions in other people’s names, medical gear, and forged documents.
Her charges include including endangering the welfare of a care-dependent person, identity theft, forgery, falsely pretending to hold a license, and more. And the investigation? Still not over.
