Construction Incident Turns Tragic in Owings Mills MD
THE BUZZ! Some sad news out of Baltimore County. A 50-year-old man named Luis Medrano sadly passed away after an accident at a construction site near Lyons Mill Road. Right where they’re building the new Deer Park Elementary School.
He was working inside a trench when water started spraying, and the hole partially collapsed. A huge amount of dirt fell in on him. And even though emergency crews got there fast, sadly, he didn’t make it.
Right now, Baltimore County Police, Fire, and Maryland’s Occupational Safety team are investigating what went wrong.
Condolences to his family and loved ones.
