Crab Cakes and Careers Too. New Report Reveals Baltimore Ranks Top 3
THE BUZZ!
According to a brand-new report from ADP, Baltimore ranks #3 in the country for the best cities for recent college grads looking to launch their careers.
ADP looked at real payroll data from over 140,000 young workers and compared 55 metro areas. They checked the hiring rate, average pay, and how far your money really goes in each city.
Now Baltimore slipped just one spot from last year, but we’re still holding strong in the top 3. Right behind Raleigh number 1 and Milwaukee at number 2.
Here’s the breakdown:
Annual wage in B’More: $52,267
Affordability-adjusted wage: $50,907
Hiring rate: 3.5%
So Baltimore is still a top-tier city for new grads to get hired, make money, and build that career. Not just grab crab cakes and head out.
The worst city on the list was Virginia Beach, Virginia
