Baltimore Street Reopens Following Building Collapse Scare

Street closures usually is a good indicator that something is going on or something is getting worked on. In this case, something almost came down.
The 300 block of Eutaw Street is back open after a scare about two buildings possibly collapsing.
The city had shut it down between Saratoga and Mulberry just to be safe. The good news – no injuries, thank God.
But, buildings at 308 and 310 N. Eutaw were condemned. A structural engineer’s coming’ out Monday to inspect and figure out what’s next.
In the meantime residents and commuters are being asked to avoid the area while they assess the situation.
And if I am at 306 or 312 Eutaw st, or any building next to those in fact, I might be very nervous.
