I have three Butterflies, PYT and Remember The Time. Which is my absolute favorite. I remember seeing the video and learning every dance step. The visuals, the actors, the dancers and Michael made this video a classic.
The song was written and composed by Teddy Riley, Michael Jackson and Bernard Belle. It was an attempt at connecting the smooth New Jack Swing sound that Riley was renowned for, with Jackson’s more earthy R&B. The expensive video set in ancient Egypt was directed by John Singleton and starred Eddie Murphy, Magic Johnson, Super model Iman. The Pharcyde, Tom “Tiny” Lister, Jr. and Wylie Draper.
