Slain man’s thumb sliced off and used to steal from his mobile payment app, officials say
In Washington D.C., a 53 year old man was found dead in his apartment. Cops believe he was violently killed. The crazy part? They think the killers chopped off his thumb to unlock his phone and steal money with a payment app.
Two women were seen on camera coming and going from the building with some other dudes. Police say they probably used the victim’s key fob to steal electronics and stuff.
A witness says one of the women used the stolen thumb to buy rides, weed, and booze with the stolen money. Another witness said that one of the women was a prostitute and was in some kind of relationship with the victim.
Both women are now under arrest, one of them was caught in Prince George’s County. They are each charged with first-degree murder and armed felony murder.
This whole story is wild.
