Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs predicted he’d be arrested for his parties one day in resurfaced interview from 1999
By now everyone has heard about the Diddy situation. Multiple lawsuits and his indictment on charges of sex trafficking and related crimes. But what is also shocking is that Diddy kind of predicted this would possibly happen, 25 years ago.
In a resurfaced interview with Entertainment Tonight back in 1999 he mentions his infamous parties and even spoke on being arrested for them in the future. During the interview he siad, “They won’t even give me a permit for the parties no more. They don’t want me to throw the parties no more, but we ain’t gonna stop. We gonna keep on having fun bringing people together from all walks of life.
“You’re gonna hear about my parties. They’re gonna be shutting them down. They’re gonna probably be arresting me, doing all types of crazy things just ’cause we wanna have a good time.”
Fast forward to today, and Diddy is facing some pretty serious allegations behind those parties which were also called “Freak offs”. He continues to claim his innocence and in the meantime is being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
If convicted he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
