Perhaps one of the biggest games in black college football is the 42nd annual Bayou Classic, where the Grambling State University Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars meet in New Orleans Thanksgiving weekend.
Reggie Flood, the spokesperson for the 2015 Bayou Classic, talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the four days event featuring a parade, fan festival, college and career seminars, the battle of the bands and Greek show and much more.
“The events officially begin tomorrow, Tuesday with the coaches kick-off and then Thursday is the official public kickoff with the parade in New Orleans,” he said.

“Of course it’s the battle of the bands, that Friday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. These are the top two bands in the country and it’s almost as intense as the game.”
